IPAF Site Assessment (for MEWP Selection) eLearning training course is available at Briggs Equipment Training Academy. Choosing the correct Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) for a working task at height can be complex. However being confident and sufficiently knowledgeable to select the right platform for the job, directly reduces risk.
This course provides confidence to candidates to enable you to determine the correct powered access unit or units for a given task.
Steps to Book Course
To book IPAF Site Assessment (for MEWP Selection) course, please follow the steps below:
As all training is specific to each operator you therefore must enter the name, email address and phone number to book course.
– Work or personal email address
- Firstly, enter information and pay for your course to enable use of the IPAF eLearning portal.
- Secondly, the theory eLearning module* is sent to the email/mobile provided.
- Finally, you can complete at your own pace, anytime, anywhere and on any device.

Candidate Requirements
All candidates must hold a valid IPAF PAL Card for operator training or an IPAF MEWPs for Managers qualification.
Course Program & Assessment
Factors to consider are extensive however this module will cover height, reach, up-and-over height, the weight of people, required materials & tools, environment, restrictions, set-up, hazards, permits, accessories, delivery, and finally, the completion of documentation to justify the selection.
You must complete the eLearning theory-based module which results in an examination.
Certification
A successful completion of course will result in a IPAF certificate as evidence of training achieved. In addition, there is no expiration date on the certificate.
